Christian Youth in Action
Christian Youth in Action® is a CEF ministry designed to train students, ages 12-21, in effective and engaging ways to teach children about God. Students will attend a one-week training camp where they learn to present the Gospel clearly on a child’s level, counsel a child for salvation, and lead a dynamic Bible club ministry for children called the 5-Day Club.
The Junior Missionary program is for students who have completed 4th and 5th grade to work alongside our CYIA Summer Missionaries.
Expectations
Step 1: Complete Interest Form
Step 2: Interview
Step 3: Complete CYIA Corporate Application
Step 4: Acceptance to program, pending reference checks
Step 5: Successfully complete all CYIA training*
Step 6: Participate in summer clubs!**
*Attendance is required at both the Pre-training Retreat and Training Camp. For Junior Missionaries (4th-5th grade), attendance is required at only the Pre-training Retreat.
**You must be able to serve at least 2 weeks following Training Camp. You will determine the weeks and they don’t have to be consecutive.
